Why Conditioning Comes First in Muay Thai

Before you throw your first teep or land a clean roundhouse, your body needs to be ready for the demands of Muay Thai. This art — often called the "Art of Eight Limbs" — uses fists, elbows, knees, and shins as weapons. Training all of them requires a level of cardiovascular endurance, core strength, and joint resilience that most beginners underestimate.

This 4-week program is designed to build that foundation safely and progressively, preparing your body for pad work, sparring, and beyond.

What You'll Need

  • Boxing gloves (8–12 oz for bag work)
  • Hand wraps
  • Jump rope
  • Heavy bag (or access to one at a gym)
